I used to take Mum’s slim Kodak camera with 110m film in it and catch the moments that were necessary to capture, like blowing out the birthday candles or friends at school camps. My very first camera was given to me when I was 11 years old by my Aunty. It was a simple film camera that controlled everything for me. All I had to do was point and shoot.

That camera provoked my passion to create images that people look back on in years to come. To fill a void and recall the memories that relate us back to that moment in time; that special occasion or just that memory of being truly happy.

Simple interactions of humanity are the subtle beauties I aim to shoot these days. You cannot feel the emotion of an image unless it’s really there.
